So the plane that was shot down was that a rebal or working for him?

Looks like the people on the ground are armed up anyway so they need to be careful flying out there anyway

Apparently was a rebel, I'd hate to be him if I was one of Gadaffi's [sp], what with all them rebels waiting on the ground with ak47's and such...lol

Also, he ejected pretty late, almost too late

Who else thinks this could be a pre-planned event though? All the media hype before the attack..As others have posted, this happens a lot around the world and nothing is done?

Why are we even sticking our necks in; surely we should leave them to it like we are with the other countries that are in a similar position to Libya, ie - Yemen?
To be honest i can't see this ending well.....

Comic Relief raised £76m yesterday, £40m worth of missiles fired today.

Does this count as helping children in africa?

@ everyone jumping on this bandwagon, this war is all about oil... just like we are swimming in oil already from the Iraq war

If it was about Oil surely we would have exploited the situation in Bahrain too who don't have the military capabilities Libya do?

I would like to think it is one in an effort to save innocent civilians from a tyrant.

Edit: Your all forgetting, BP already had Oil contracts in Libya.

Not much has happened since last night tbh, Our Tornado's hit a few targets in Libya performing a 3000 mile round trip from Norfolk, And Gadaffi has asked for support from other nations an basically stated his intentions to fight back & is opening weapons depots to civilians to defend their country [doesn't sound smart considering you have rebels in your country ]
