it is slightly different on track my standard puma seats didnt bother me when driving around roads fast, but on the gp track i was all over warrens lap lol

these seats i have now though are good enough imo for track

id keep it as is till you buy the new car, then strip it and get cheap harnesses and buckets when its a track only car

fixed back lightweight GRP shell bucket seats all the way.

Is it going to be used as a track car?

If so.... cage with harness bar. If not just use the rear seat belt mount points for the harnesses.

so why dont you just keep it as it is - save your money for your daily use car in 18 months time (although you always say 18 months time) and then invest in the puma when your in a position to make it a track day car

Seems a bit pointless putting all that money into the puma to utilise it a few times a year on the track

i reckon if i get my current seats retrimmed then they will still be worth a lot more in the long run if i come to sell them for buckets when its my second car anyway

the seats would look better retrimmed but just wait till you get the other car before you go mad with it, thst way you can save fo your other car

spending £500 on the seats will not increase the value of the seats enough to justify it. leave them, sell them as are in 18months and get some buckets
