Taking all other factors discussed above, with a grip on reality income vs. outgoings - I would probably have either a nearly new E92 M3 Coupe or Range Rover Sport.

If I walked into a 100k job a year job tomorrow probably a 3-4 year old v8 vantage on finance live at home for another year and save a nice deposit in that time for a house.
Living at home I could probably finance one on a 25k job .

FFS trust me to start a CS riot
The reason for the thread is because that could be my earning potential in about 2 years. Getting into student lettings with my wife's side of the family. A little way off but certainly going to happen.
I didn't realise that the tax hit you that much 5.5k with 100k pa is scandalous :-O I'm more in mind to have something like an RB320 scooby and know that I can A. fix it when it brakes and B. Fiddle with it all I want and not have to worry about the cost
But I'll probably just get a new M3 was behind a White saloon one yesterday and it was yummy!

Think I'd be pretty happy at that.
I'm not a million miles away from that and no way could I afford those things!
100k is not as bigger an amount as it was and doesn't go as far as people think.

100k per year doesnt go as far as people think?! I find that hard to believe, if someone is in that situation they must need a good look at what they are spending.

I thought it was some fancy job title, hybrid of 'Production' / 'Execution'. Prod-cution...
Prodcution = 100k starting salary.

It gives you a decent quality of life but not the instant riches some of the people in here seem to think.

I'd buy a Veyron on finance and have an F40 as a run around TBH.

Veyron on finance will set you back about £15k a month, I know that because there was one for sale in a garage near my parents and the dealer actually put the finance details for it in the window of the car

That's fine, I'd move back in with my parents and eat grass.

Lives up North so no ridiculous southern house prices. Works away a month at a time.
