Oulton. Silverstone & Bedford are shit and boring unless you have 500bhp+
August/Early September is good for me
I would have to totally disagree with you on that at Bedford.
Done it 3 times there in the corsa and loved it, upsetting much better powered cars.
I think it's a bit of a misconception there same as Combe being a power circuit as there is more to them than that.
i have to second that!
i went round Bedford in my MX5, no one can claim that is "high power" (rolling road puts it at 103bhp) and i thoroughly enjoyed it and like smcGSI16V was upsetting faster cars and had a good battle with a CooperS

will be interested in a track day as I've always fancied going to one then attending more regularly, hopefully get the plans done for the corsa by the later part of the year and look at attending, mallory park is about 2 miles from me so attend regularly to have a nose, also drove round but I was only 16 then in a peugeot 207 diesel

ahhh i really enjoy mallory, yea its only small track but good fun and dont get so many race cars going on testing days there! the track seems to suit the van slo so quite like it, lol
also the food there is good and well priced unlike silverstone......bout 5 quid for a sandwich with random fillings on! hahaha
angelsy is good for food to tho.....
opps think i am choosing which track has best food now not which is best to drive on!

im going to book something in about a months time i think, im fairly sure prices will come down close to the event when they struggle to fill so it will be up to you if you book now or take your chances and wait.
il find the best event at the best price for everyone

sounds good, when we went to mallory last month we booked 5 cars together! straight after we booked they put prices up by £10 on website cos less spaces left! bit cheaky i thought!

Snetterton - not driven the new 100/200/300 layouts but the old circiuit (still reatianed in much of 200/300) would be very dull for small engine NA cars I'd think.
I found it a bit long and all about power in my Impreza.
My list of prefs
Oulton
Anglesey
Cadwell
Knockhill
Brands
Silverstone
Snetterton
then ones i've never been to or thought about
Bedford, Combe, Mallory, Thruxton, Pembrey.
I'd consider pretty much anything but would be less likely to pop down to Brands or Snet purely based on distance - 12hr drive one way and then the costs £500 fuel bill, 100 fuel for track car, £200 for trackday and £100 for hotel. Expensive trackday

For larger events we normally offer cheaper spaces in advance and then charge full price in the month before the event. We need to pay for the trackhire - so we need the money in and cant just wait for fannies to book at the last minute
If you could get a DEDICATED/CONFIRMED 15-20 folk together we would consider running an 8hr Knockhill event again. We lost out last time (we dont do it for the money... but with that we dont want to subsidise trackdays for the population of Scotland ) For an 8hr Summer event it would need to be in the region of £175 for a discounted block booking.
Camping could be arranged or hotels block booked etc.
