Gareth Bale reportedly pulled out of the running as he did not believe they could win a medal.

Keegan mode - I'd love it if...

Gareth Bale is a tw*t if he did say that! This is why football should not be in the Olympics

Some hotties in the GB Hockey team!!

BBC coverage of the Olympics has been terrible! The timing information during the womens and mens road race was shocking and there have been several odd pieces of editing. Not good!

Agree with the coverage, I don't think its them though, think its a feed they use.

Spain really didn't take losing well! In fairness they should of had a penalty, but they were filthy bastards near the end knowing they were going out.

There is no such thing as 'BBC coverage' as you say.

It is a universal feed outwith their control.

The cameras are controlled centrally by the OBS therefore the feed is the same on the BBC as it is on NBC and Australian networks and African networks etc etc etc...

The IOC are actually trying to blame folk tweeting updates for the reason there was a lack of information provided to commentators during the cycling.

It is quite humorous they are trying to blame the people for tweeting for the lack of updates.

What are they trying to do, stream a video of position to try and work out where it is.

if a tweet can make it through, all the information they need can make it through.

They really need to look into pub/sub using MQTT, perfect for this sort of application.
