they are not getting dubious ref or lines person decisions. i think thats the difference. the bribes have stopped.

Joking aside, I reckon that is a factor actually. Albeit a small one, logically. But a factor nonetheless.

Ref's etc WERE scared of Fergie. That's definitely true.

Not scared of him shouting at them, but the "power" he held.

In fairness they should have won that game. You'd think Chelsea drawing with WHU would have as much of a fall out, but because its United it's massive. They are simply woeful defensively now whereas they were solid in recent years. I can see why Vidic is leaving, and they've not had another top CB since Ferdinand's younger years.

I think United may spring a surprise against one of the top clubs that don't park the bus, they weren't exactly poor today, look at the stats. Its just stupid inexplicable results. Needs sorting out ASAP

They weren't exactly good today either Steve.

Fulham wanted them to have most of the possession, and probably wanted them to resort to aimless crosses for most of the game too. You had no right winger for 80 mins, it's much easier to defend if you know they're going to constantly work it out to the left and swing it into the box aimlessly

"18 - Just 18 of Manchester United's 81 crosses against Fulham found a teammate. Fruitless."

Nearly £4m was matched on United winning at between 1.01 and 1.1 before Darren Bent scored

personally didn't think man chester played all that well at all. the result seems to back that up.

out of interest, how many points have man chester lost at home this season so far? they've lost a lot of games and drawn a lot of games haven't they?

Random note. Ozil and his price tag has seriously gone under the radar. He's been proper poor for Arsenal for a long time now. Can't help but imagine if he was at a different club the price tag would be mentioned a lot, and how Ozil has been under performing.

Obviously it can take time to adapt etc but he's not been setting the world alight for a 42.5 million pounds footballer.

For what it's worth he'll be a beast for Arsenal I don't doubt that, but he really hasn't exactly stepped up for a while now.

Couldn't agree more about that, I've not seen him do much for Arsenal since his first 2 games maybe. Other than that he seems to just float through games not doing much
