I like my clear rears tbh. I've got some facelift rear lights sitting in the garage but they seem to be quite a lot of work to fit (facelift rear.bumper, coding, re-wiring etc).

My cigarette lighter socket hasn't worked for about a year now. I already replaced it once and thought it needed replacing again.
I decided to check the fuses located behind the glove box. All very easy to do, just push on to bits of plastic at the top and it drops down. Beware, make sure it's empty else all your contents will be chucked onto the footwell 
Theres a handy fuse card so checked that and it said fuse 5, so pulled it out and sure enough it was buggered. Luckily there was a spare 15a fuse in there so replaced it and set about putting everything back together.
Pretty easy in this car, everything just clips together. The hardest part is trying to move about with the lack of interior space.
Finally, I have a green light on the charger!!! Can go on road trips in a decent car now :lol
Whilst I had that all out, I decided to re-route the aux lead as it had been getting trapped between 2 bits of plastic and stopped working.
I had to take the auxillary plate off but will put it back on soon, so it covers up that flaked off paint.
All done:
Nice free and easy fix. Wish I had done it earlier

Lolz, this is about the extent of my skills with regards to vehicle electrics.
Will be getting someone to wire up my angel eyes to my sidelight. It's easy, but I know i'd mess it right up.

I'd be lost without my cig lighter!
I mounted my aux cable in the dash panel under the heater controls, can't see it either which I like.
Nice work fixing it. Maybe it was the fuse the first time?

Wires were buggered on the first one gav, think it got trapped somewhere.
I was having a look at that panel and wondering if that'd be a better idea, the only problem is needing to remove the radio to pop it out.

You don't need to remove the radio to get it off I just pushed it somehow and out it came, might have used a knife too, came out really easy

I've been getting weird stale smells in the interior for a while now. It only ever happens after it's been raining. It doesn't appear to be a leak as the smell can surface the same day, rather than a few days later.
Someone told me to replace the pollen filter to see if that sorted it. Seeing as it's cheap anyway, I thought i'd give it a shot myself.
Read a guide online and it's literally a 5 minute job.
Picked one up from eurocarparts, £9.50. Bargain.
Firstly, get into the passenger footwell and locate the piece of plastic that needs removing. As you can imagine, there isn't much room in these cars at the best of times, let along when laying over the door sill and looking up underneath the glovebox.
Remove 2 screws and this will fall down:
Unplug the bulb holder to get it out of the eay, and you'll spot the pollen filter housing:
The bit at the bottom simply pulls off, revealing the pollen filter:
As luck would have it, the old one was a hengst filter also, so a like for like replacement.
old one was rather dirty and the crap that came out of the housing made a mess:
Then simply push the new filter in, put back the plastic bits and it's job done.
The hole behind the filter is where my sound generator enters the cabin. It basically sends unfiltered engine/induction noise straight through. At standard, this has foam in somewhere in the piping, but the previous owner removed it all, which is why it sounds loud inside. Outside, it's rather quiet.
Good idea if you don't want a fart can backbox.

Haha mine was replaced when I took it for its inspection 1. I know it was replaced because my clean footwell was full of leaves etc when I got back in the car

Removing the entire backbox seems to make it rather loud, doesn't it?
I think im going to put 2 bypass pipes on. They sounded good on the guys with the quad exhausts.

Probably is Abit loud but I don't have the know how to do bypass pipes etc.
Do you happen to know howmuch an exhaust heat shield is? Mines corroded and my bumpers loose because of it

I think they're quite a bit gav. I remember when one of mine fell down and I decided to bodge it rather than pay silly money for a new one.
Which one of yours has corroded? Theres a few underneath and obviously the one in the engine bay.
I need to sort one of mine out underneath the drivers seat area, makes a rubbing noise on idle sometimes which sounds awful.

It's the one at the back, it appears to hold the bumper on so my bumper is slightly dropped on one side, I've bodged it with two big washers but I can't imagine it lasting

Haven't done anything to the car lately, been busy 'detailing' my dads car whilst he's away. Spent 10 hours on the paintwork  but the result was worth it:
Cheeky reflection shot. Apologies for the orange peel, typical ford paint job.
I also gave mine a quick wash so took a pic. Seems to get a lot of attention now the fancy wheels are on. The tyres do break traction a lot quicker, but it makes every journey much more fun.

Can't help but think that the roof looks like a faded black roof :/. Needs to be red or black. Other than that I like it

Flaffy, I'm sort of in agreement with you on the roof. It didn't turn out 100% how i'd like it and will hopefully be sorting it on my holidays in a couple of weeks. Found a dye which is bright red but need to contact the company and ask whether it's suitable.
The roofs been down every day for the past 2 weeks though so hasn't been an issue for me.
