Wasn't in the one I went to. Full of old people that looked like they were buying stuff because it was a bargain rather than because they ever went on a bike
Got a couple of pairs of shades for £2.99 each and that soft shell jacket/gilet.

This. Was a little surprised at the place crawling with oap's buying armfuls of cycling gear. I got two jackets and some socks and shades. Can't go wrong for the money tbh.

I have a Gore Alp x, managed to pick up in the crc sale at a really good price.
Really good jacket, especially with the removeable sleeves. well worth it.
Just costs a absolute fortune at rrp.

Anyone want to pick me up a jacket/gillet and post it to me? This deal will work best if someone is able to post stuf for free through their work

Kurt has managed to find proof that the Saris Bones rack does actually fit on a 350z!
Looks like I can be a bit more mobile with the bike now!

Do people reckon I could get away with that or would I need to attach a light bord (well just a numberplate tbh)

How do people get on with rear mounted racks? I've never been a fan and my only concern is my Kalula which weighs about 37lbs.

Good ride last night round Kentmere. There's a pretty awesome bit of single track descent hidden down there...

I plan to do 7mile run on sat + 75mile ride on Sunday should be fun....
350miles sounds pretty immense, I assume this is on the road bike?
mwg - thats reminded me I need to clean mine on sat and the chain its awful, really could do with going the lbs to see if he can show me how to fix/tighten breaks/gearing etc.

The majority of my 350 miles will be driving to Wales however if doug is up for the ride out. Probably cover 30 miles on the weekend on the mountain bike over 2 days.
Remembering this time last year I was about 18 stone, smoked and never exercised at all. I run about 4 miles a night so I'm getting better never gong to be an elite cyclist though.
