Great news that is, very lucky indeed. Get some oil changes done too just in case of any bits still floating around! Hope it stays fine.

that green smilie face thing possibly isnt as happy as i was when it started back up and got oil pressure. i dont think i will know for a few weeks really if i have got really lucky. few more oil changes see what happens.

todays boring update consists of a boost pipe coming off. and an oil change. all of which i will be doing later. then doing some more miles and some more checking etc.

hopefully it will survive for the enxt 1/4mile weekend at kirkbride which is a local air field begining of next month.

no and no. i cant remember tightening it so probably just shoved it back together.

a friend of mine from here said they might be able to get them aero catches a bit cheaper so im waiting on a reply from them.

Surprised that metal pipe doesn't have a bulge at the end to make it harder for it to blow off. and that.

couldnt see anything. filter was clean. car is getting a wash later for first time in 4 months so will take it for a spirited drive afterwards and hope its ok.
