As it stands, it is perfectly safe to go to London, as long as you don't go to the affected areas. I went to work as normal today and didn't notice anything different. But I commute into Waterloo and work at Canary Wharf, neither of which were affected. If I worked in Hackney/Croydon, it would probably be a different story.
You may find that shops/businesses in densely populated areas close earlier than usual though.
