Red brake light just works for me. Kinda shows off the rear spoilerish boot shape by making it more pronounced to see.

Get these red roof pics up. Gives me something to read while sat round the pool on wifi.

I like the red lights, i think it would look a lot better aswell of you could put another set of exhaust pipes on the other side..

Met up with a guy last night to sell him the facelift rear lights and 265/30/19 tyres. Didn't fancy the work involved in getting the lights to work, so sold them on for a small profit.

Drove the Z4 from essex to glasgow last night (420 miles). Done it on one tank of fuel (50 litres). Not bad at all!

Had an issue with 70 miles to go with a dash light coming on. Turns out its the check engine light. Could be a coilpack problem but the cars running fine and the lights gone off so hoping it'll last until I get back home on sunday.

Driving on the 'rest and be thankful' tomorrow iirc, on the way up to my other halfs parents' caravan at lochgoilhead. Will get some pics up as it's beautiful there.

Can't fault the fuel economy. For a 10 year old 3.0 straight six petrol packed with luggage, it's not bad at all!

Only thing I wish it had were more supportive seats. My back was aching after the 9 hour drive up! Would've done it in 7 hours but we got caught in traffic due to a lorry fire on the m6. Cunt.

Was doing 70-80 until traffic, then 70 after. As I reached cumbria, all the street lighting was non existant so sat at 65mph.

It's quite surreal driving on big motorways completely alone!

Haha I like a dark motorway get to play with the highbeam which is rare,
Strange the other day the faster I went the more range I got, the car was encouraging me to go faster

Get hold of some m seats, they are pretty solid but really comfy I think

Would love to gav, but want to sell it for aomething bigger next year.

Love the driving experience, but just fancy an.extra 2 seats. Been looking at e46 m3's for a while, but may go for something a bit newer.

Barnshaw, it's the M54 engine iirc, unsure whether thats the same or similar to yours, but it definitely is decent. It makes journeys effortless, sitting at 2500 rpm at about 70mph on cruise control.

Cheers alan. In reality, the roof isn't perfect, but looks fine from a distance.

Think i'll give the car a quick wash tomorrow before heading off for some scenic pics through loch lomond national park. Wish i'd brought a decent camera with me

does anyone know if the backseats go down in a 1 series coupe? or does it have a cubby hold in an arm rest or anything? i was eyeing the 135i's up like you ben the other week, if i could get my fishing gear in one id be tempted

Yes they do but optional extra at £350 so you would need to check the spec
