will look even better in base coat remember seeing hitmans in basecoat and looked really good

sure i read somewhere he was selling it or it was sold as his car is getting a make over!! going 2 iaz to drop dash back next few days so will have a look at your car but looks pretty good at the min!! cars always look good in primer and basecoat!

yours looked great in the black base coat so cant wait for mine in that think the colour will look nice especially contours of the arches should make it flip more

on a mission tonight wanted to get car painted so its one less thing to think about, rubbed car down this morning before work and then in afternoon inbetween shifts!!

then finished work tonight at bout half 9 not bad and got home and cracking with the car!!!

cleaned it all up, damped floor, and black basecoat is on :-

dont most of the coats of the flip on now also, just wanna try get couple more, or just one!!!

then hoping to laquer it tonight also!!!

get used to painting a car so becomes natural which way to go next so should do it now while its all fresh in my tired head!! hehe

main reason is cos i have lots of work on and my last day off from normal work was about 12days ago and next day off is 7days away so basically will have worked almost 3 weeks every day, did 76 hours last week at normal job, so need to do cars at silly times!!!!!

think i could be rough at work tomorrow

UPDATE, on final coat of the flip the air hose flicked round and cought wet paint on bumper so have to let it dry, rub it down then apply plat basecoat and then the flip and blow it in, got all that done and 2 think coats of laquer and car looks great, gonna take some pics when the mist clears!!!!!! then tidy me spray guns etc up and off to bed i think!!!!

well i need to raise 60k or as near as i can get for buying 50% of the lease of pub i work for end of april so trying hard to raise funds so it makes it easier when we take over and less pressure to pay back a larger loan!!!

the last 2 resprays i am really happy with, getting beta and beta, not one run in last 2 cars and putting alot of paint on, its strange how u just keep improving even tho u are not trying to do anything any different, its all gravy

JUST FINISHIED FOR THE NIGHT, at 3:15, at work for half 9 and got few things i need to do before work, hehe

well here are some pics of the car in flip and laquered!!!

happy with it, door shuts are superb, super shiny like the reast of car!! colour is really nice also, looks beta in flesh but nice colours in it!

here are the pics

























not bad really, car was in primer 5 hours ago!!!

4 coats of basecoat.............4 litres
6coats of flip............... 6litres
2 heavy coats of laquer ...........3.5litres

think its time for bed now!!!! still not feeling tired, think i will when my alarm goes off tho
