how did this get onto a Cupra vs Punto GT war?

They are very different car, and very different ages!

The cupra is a much bigger car with 400cc more. Its more refined, and flabby.

The punto GT is just a revised Uno Turbo bansai roller skate.

Its like saying a corsa is better than an astra. Different markets, different perspective buyers, different needs, differennt strong points.

For 1k i can 100% i would not have been able to find a 1.8t Cupra/Leon whatever

Punto GT's ARE a performance bargain. They ARE NOT as unreliable as some no-brain halfwits make out.

Much like 1.8t vag engine, they will go pop if you run too much boost and lean it out.

Thats what i'm trying to say AK, completely different cars thats why i've swapped with that corsa as it's a totally different raw hatch.

a corsa isnt a raw hatch

its a wobbly round the edges warm hatch of the mid 90's :/

that will be raw, but tiresome.

I was meaning from factory... like a sport or GSi.

I think my corsa ownership days are drwing to a bitter end :/

your 228 is very optimistic yet if anyone questions that you go off on one.

pretty much anyone on here that does some tuning and estimates something you try and rip it apart with the 'my seat' speaches. give it a rest. until i see your time sheet i dont care about your car. infact even then i wont care as it wont impress me at all

if you had actually ever experienced a fast car, you wouldnt be debating things like this. its just like someone who is 18 and drives a 1.2 corsa claiming ferrari's arent fast. your just the same

I spent the majority of this thread answering questions and attempted abuse thrown at my car i never once instigated any of it
