of course i wouldn't paint the drums red i painted them black, big improvement with just 1 coat aswell

couldn't put the eibachs on this weekend as i went out on the piss last night and got wrecked so going to be next weekend now

should hopefully get my headunit in tomorrow though so that'll be one less thing to do

and here's how the finished look will be (notice i'm not far off)



gloss black side stripes
dark or silver st wheels
piper 3.5'' exhaust

finally got my headunit in today, such a pain in the arse

had to buy the double DIN fascia adaptor and 3 leads costing over 50 quid to fit it

nothing special, but looks better than the standard ford one and has a ipod connection in the back

springs going on saturday too

how did people get round the old radio setup with the 3 seperate bits, that doesn't look as daunting as the old setup. New headunit looks better than the old hifi

you had to buy the whole dash panel with cut outs for the heater knobs etc. was an arse to fit in my dads mk6

got an S decal made up from a website, they sent 2 even though i only asked for 1. i think it looks alright tbh, had this idea for ages!

lol i know how much them ST tripes cost... your lucky you got them on discount mate

stearing wheel looks nice aswell... please make sure no one has used hand cream then touches it tho because ford are crap for pealing stearing wheels..

other than that nice mk6.5 am impressed..

got it lowered yesterday, was a thread in general chat but thought i'd update project thread too.

35mm eibachs, sits nicely already, only done 10 miles on them so far.
