I work at the Borgata Casino-Hotel-Spa-Money Pit In lovely Atlantic City, NJ.

I have stories too.

The Porsche

It is 4AM, I am sitting all alone in our huge lobby. Two gentlemen who have clearly had more to drink than they should have, are wandering across my view, when they spot the shiny Porsche Cayman S we were giving away for father's day ("Come and give us all your money for the slimmest possible chance to win a car!" You get the picture) So they change course right for the car. I figure they'll look at/slobber on/dance on top of the car, but much to my amazement, they get inside the goddamn car Yes, goons, it is unlocked. I stand up, walk out from behind the desk and tap on the window. they both snap their necks in my direction with the "Deer in headlights" face, and I return with the "Are you kidding me?" arm wave/shoulder shrug. They get out and apologize profusely, and I warn them that they really ought to disappear quickly. I love this hotel.

Paris

This is a story I heard from a supervisor, but apparently Paris Hilton attempted to get a room on one of the busiest weekend of the season right when the hotel first opened. She walked up to the desk in front of an entire line of people, hopped up and sat on the desk and inquired about the availability of lodging. Having sat down in front of a manager, she was told she would need to wait in line, but even if she did the hotel is sold out. Paris was having difficulty understanding to concept of making a room reservation, and ended up storming off angrily. I suppose the real funny is a male middle manager denying an attractive billionaire a stay at a brand new swank hotel with a straight face. Wish I cold have been there.
