I think this is question for keith lemon.
All down to personal taste.
People who go on about lambo and ferraris being super cars is because thats what there think, dosent make it correct.
Nsx to me would be a supercar.
Skyline r34 Z-tune would be a supercar to ME.
I just dont think because something cost more then a house and is red make its a supercar for me personally.
What about the Audi R8 ?
Its an audi with the same engine as the Rs4 I think, supercar ? Not for me.
I just think there over priced noob machines

and i wouldnt class an R8 as a true supercar, well its on the edge of it really, it has the looks and go etc, but the final thing its lacking to finish it off is the make

Agreed. Cars like the R8, lower end 911's, Boxsters etc are SPORTS cars.
Supercars are like the F40, the McLaren F1 etc.
Hypercars are such like the Koinsinegg, the Bugatti, the Zonda etc.

Skyline and an NSX are not super cars. They are probably GT or sports cars. As Daimo says a super car is an F430, F40, any Lambo, F1, Veyron etc, GT3, GT2, GT, GT40. Any lower end 911, R8 etc is a sport's car.

i posted some literature that states it was formally made a super car because its too loud for a normal car and passed the acceleration trials. but they still deny it?
