Great work mate. It was nice to see it all again last night in the flesh. Never mind hard core tea drinkers the amount of strongbow we put away last nite was nearly as insane as this cars going to be

The nova was the cleanest nova iv seen for a very very long time.

I dont have it anymore tho the guy that did own it a few years ago crashed it then repaired it but it was a very shady job.

I till wish to this day i never got rid of it

I only started doing them because of the problems with other pickups supplied.

the other one made by the other fella was a disaster in my opinion. especially for the price paid for it.

tbh the oil pickup has got to be 100% perfect as its such a vital part.

fair do's very nice work on the head, would be nicer to see a smoother finish in the ex ports though(polished, but hey ho.

didnt you have to pay a daft surcharge for the head at all? just when ive looked on his site the heads are something like £750 with a £3750 charge on your old head?

i could have had it hand finished but decided it wasnt worth the extra money as i belive a polished finish wont flow as well as a rougher finish?

i didnt have to pay any surcharge on the head as it was my own, i just took it to him and he did the work didnt want to exchange etc as i knew my head hadnt been skimmed before

only on the inlet you would want it rougher, but i dont blame you for not wanting to pay the £100 for the 'taped' service, seems abit steep for what it actually is

Lovely motor, but the won't the high spots on the chambers cause hotspots, just looks like a funny finish thats all. I'd best take some pictures of my guides before I fit my manifolds
