Does seem a pretty good deal but everytime I've played on a PS3 I've always thought it was no better than my 360 so the only reason I can see for me to buy one is for blu ray but I'm quite happy with my DVD player upscaling

Dont have a 360. Have a Blu-ray player in my laptop but the PS3 one is meant to be one of the best. I can really tell the difference between a blu-ray & normal DVD. e.g. got Iron Man on blu-ray. Mate has it on dvd so put it on the other day to compare, miles of difference

I don't have a full HD TV so I'm happy enough with the 1080i I get from upscaling.
If they ever get round to releasing GT5 I might get one
