You have low standards

Ipswich town centre is a dump, London is a dump, Reading though even though I hate the place actually has a nice town centre.

I dont have low standards at all. Glasgow was awarded UK City of Architecture and Design, so it can't be that bad.

Actaully the city underneath was used by the "underworld" of crime when the city was being ruled by rich yuppies (hundreds of years ago).

Its still there. Glasgow just sits on top of it where they built over the top.

Ahhhh joys of Documentry channels

More than just tunnels. Rooms, and many of the buildings you see on the streets (esp around the castle) go at least 4 stories underground where the city street levels once were. They just built upwards.

Lots of history in Glasgow.

They've got a dodgy English sounding accent, no idea why it's the capital either.

I live in the middle of Central Scotland, bang in between Edingburgh and Glasgow. I've always felt far more at home in Glasgow than Edinburgh, Glasweigans just seem so much more approachable and friendly On saying that, I still feel like a country yokle, folk are always asking what part of scotland do you come from because of my broad accent
