Sorry but it's staying haha!
Few more pics with lights on etc
RIGHT! Updates
Got myself a garage, nice Means I can work on the car a bit more often and more safely lol! Also got a top notch tool kit to take with me every time I visit the garage so I can stop breaking inferior tools!
Recently ordered all round coilovers from GAZ, cost a bomb, but going to be so worth it! Then it's camber, tracking, and level adjustment which will be done at a local garage, an MOT which will most likely be done there too and a much needed cleaning session!
Then it's a big mod. I recently went to have a serious conversation with my bodyshop owner friend regarding a full respray and general refurb; including treating all rust, tidying up interior bits, powder-coating the wheels, repairing the rear and front bumpers, possibly semi-smoothing the boot and a few other bits and bobs.
This will not be cheap! But it will be very worth it. As for the colour, well you'll just have to wait and see, but for now I'll leave you with a name: House of Kolor.
Enjoy!
Ooh, hello there parcel...
All individually tested and guaranteed

They go low enough for me, so that's all that matters.
Oh yeah - how do you know that then?
Haven't said how much I paid. How much do GAZ charge?

It'll be staying on the SRi's or getting Corsa D SXi's, no other plans regarding wheels really.

I paid £17 more. Couldn't see an option to order direct from GAZ and the guy I spoke to at CMS was very helpful. So I'm happy with what I paid, £17 isn't an issue.

Hi sam, you know what, after looking at that on here I really appreicate the car alot more.
Going through the 9000+ pages on AC I could never find progress pics of a before, during and after.
But now I can see how much work has gone into it and it definately looks great!

Think they're set at about -65/70mm at the mo, but I want them as it was on my -80mm springs so going a little lower. I get no rubbing but have trimmed all the arch screws. That said my wheels are et44...

I can't believe I haven't actually updated this thread at all this year!
Anyhow, here are all the new bits and pieces to date, nearly ready for Trax...
New coilovers:
A little bit of pic whoring
Then the car went to the garage to have a big overhaul and refresh which should last a few years hopefully!
MOT
Full service
Rear beam/suspension points welded
Camber adjusted
Tracking adjusted
Alignment adjusted
Steering wheel swapped
Air bag light re-set
Hand brake adjusted
Clutch adjusted
Air con recharged
Rear brake shoes replaced
Rear brake drums replaced
Rear brake cylinders replaced
Front brake pads replaced
I then had a dilemma about buying new wheels, so had some photoshops done...
New steering wheel:
Ended up buying some 16" BBS splits:
Which lasted about a fortnight before I decided the cost to refurb wasn't realistic when there were other wheels available...
So bought some more! Got lent a set of steelies by a friend while my two sets of tyres were swapped around:
Then Mr Refined Detail got his hands on the car... (pics are back to front for some reason
Interior light was next update:
Then replaced my arden blue roof rails with arden blue smooth roof rails:
And finally, the Corsa owes me over £500 this month, let's hope it's worth it at Trax! Hope the pics didn't kill anyone's computer?!
