i think If someone be it yourself or someone else was listed and recognised as Regional Organiser people may not be as reluctant to send money

Valid point, but as already said i'd happily organise these sort of things, it's not particularly hard and i dont mind giving up free time to contact these places.

Sorry you're not party to the full facts in making that statement but the Scottish region is not only bigger, it's also got a lower distribution of members and I also want a number of staff.
I also don't have as much knowledge of Scotland and its geography or road network, and I also got a lot more correspondence regarding the Scottish decision than I did the Yorkshire one.
And I'm also interested in sorting it, but consider that one particularly a difficult decision.
So in answer to the original question, no you are not wasting your time, but arrangements for this particular region must be sound and longeval.
If that is the case, lets hear it. If I can't be clear, lets continue to strengthen the decision with proper debate and not waste time questioning the process.

And further more, two organisers who both live in a corner of the region is probably not the answer.

Just no.
I'd do it if I end up buying one of the corsas I'm currently keeping an eye on then I'd be happy to give it a go.
TBH though looking at the regional stats you could probably split the region and have a Cornwall/Plymouth region and a Bristol/Wiltshire/Somerset region

Obviously thats the case.
It would have to be either myself or Adam (Unless anyone else is interested). Not physically possible for both of us to do it, due to disgreement etc.

Disagreements aren't the issue, it's the fact you are nearly 4 hours away from the other end of the region and therefore a number of the users.
Stats are here -

I dont think it would be possible to bring the whole region together on a regular basis though.

Indeed. Hence why I'm thinking about multiple staff. The question is who and where.

I appreciate that, but that also doesn't address the needs of the entire region.

I'm trying to find that out at the minute by getting all the Active members to reply in that thread in the Scotland region, then we can see who is best suited based on location.

That depends, there's been a few up north I think and the last one I'm aware of for us folk down here was the RR day.
