not really just nice to see abit of success after 19-20 years of getting no where. the past decade was painful enough

Spurs are the comeback kings

For those who care (just mwg) they have recouped 16pts this season from losing positions. Only got 5 when behind last year

Thought Newcastle looked good, shame they cant be a bit more consistent though. Carroll looked good again but even more impressive was Jonas, not seen much of him but he did seem to have a bit of speed and the knack of tricking his way round people. Liverpool looked alright today as well and after we missed the pen I thought that was it. We seem to always make it hard for ourselves but unlike the spurs of years gone now if we go behind I still think we can win unlike before where we would've lost 2/3-0 today after going behind. Hopefully we keep up our form and with daws/defoe back the injuries to kab/vdv/hudd/king wont affect us too much COYS

i think so far this season, for newcastle, i have been impressed with tiote. does a great job for the side so far. works hard on and off the ball. i think if say barton had been playing as well yesterday, would have had more presence in mid field and probably done better. rely too much on gutierez and carroll currently to come up with something.

That ref was shocking in our game, but roy should have took the initiative when two of their key players limped off. Spurs are very good going forward but they are vulnerable if you try and have a go, very frustrating.

Tiote has been brilliant so far this season. We missed him against Bolton. He just sits in front of the defender and bosses it. Does a few too many turns too close to home for my liking but can do it and get away from it Barton has been a big loss but fortunately he is back next game and in place of routledge. Hopefully nolan will be back against WBA as well
