Hey man!

He's at Uni He's enjoying it. I gave him a lift there once, was a good day. His stuff weighed down the mighty shit piece that is my old saxo.
Ahh fair enough 1.1 is it?

It was.

Broke down the day before I was selling it, well technically 10 hours before I was selling it. M55 Preston coming back from Blackpool. Lost all power.
Needed a new engine. Managed to get my dad to come out at about half 1 in morning to tow me off the end of the motorway. Then got a proper tow to get it back home and my mate took it and scrapped it. Piece of shit.

You've got to love unreliable cars, for the sheer entertainment they give off.

Day 3 of owning the saxo- fan belt snapped. Had to get dragged through town to get a new one fitted.

Day 7 of owning the saxo- exhaust snapped. replaced- cost me £85.

Day 30: engine dies.

FAIL

Problem is becky is 19 and only on a provisional, I would think a 1.8 would kill her for insurance

An hour of owning a corsa, it through a rod through the block... few days later I bought a new engine. Fitted it, few days later, bent 16 valves... died again. Few days later, bought another engine... died again. Few days later, bought another engine, ran ok, had some weird electircal problems... sold it for £850ish. (Bought it for £1650)

Sometimes you just need to cut your losses. I did this before it died again.

Being a Rover 25, I reckon the insurance group is pretty low tbh.

Tbf to get to the zed you have to move my mums car and most probably the ibiza too, so no point it would be mainly for when its on the side of the house but then it can vary as to where it will be parked so not much point

Epic. My mum lost all power on her old 1.1 Saxo once, turned out the fuel filter had fallen off Clipped it back on and it was good to go
