Should sell the Puma and buy a Corrado to sit on axle stands in pieces now

Not bad m8. I like your Swift. But not if you've screwed yourself for it.

£5k
You could of bought a car that's quicker round the ring than the Puma for that.

yup.... but it would prob be older, no warranty and cost a lot more to run.
You can get a TypeR Impreza for 5k..... its a car that costs 5k but still costs the same to run as when it was 30k new or whatever
Whats it actually like to drive?

Wouldnt a CTR (or equiv) cost much more to run too though... tax, insurance, fuel?
Adio - I was just using that as an obvious example.
eg. Big BMWs etc that are dirt cheap second hand. You dont need to be weathly to buy them but you need a lot of money to keep them on the road!

Yeah, I know what you meant, but I was thinking of cars that wouldn't cost a lot to run and be a better car than the puma on track.
The swift is the type of car you get when you've got too many points on your licence.
I know why Steve's bought it, so he can have a track car and a cheap to run road car, but for £5k on finance.... I just wouldn't of done it.
(ps. I like swifts)

Swifts are nice, just not one with wheel trims on finance when the car you can't put on the road is a puma (that's seen a track once).

I understand and agree with all of the pros to get the car and it does start to make sense...up until you realise that it's an awful lot of money for a 'cheap' to run car and what makes it worse is that it's on finance.
However, it is your car and your money so do what the hell you like with it
