I once bought a gf at the time flowers for valentines day and got them sent to her house.

Her mum thought they were for when they turned up. Gf was like no, they're mine.

which didnt make mum very happy. which didnt make dad very happy either

I started an open university course, I hated it in all honesty so I quit. Meh, wish I'd gone, only thing is I wouldn't have my house and car if I had.
