I cant see you getting a good quote tbh, especially when you say you drive until you crash it and how you have tpft on what would have been an over 5k car when you bought it.

How can you agree the value on a TP policy? Surely it's completely irrelevant what it's worth?
Hardly see the other insurer paying more out just because you gave Flux more. Do they make up such a shortfall or something?

What's happened is they've asked him what it's worth and he's said 10k.

No, I said I want an agreed value on the car, or I want to declare each mod separately and if it gets stolen they will either pay the agreed value of the amount of the car plus the mods.
I only listed the big mods but it's well over the agreed value, but i paid £63 more to have the agreed value on the policy
why do people just presume and think they know best on the internet? it's my policy, not yours, how the fuck would you know?

Didn't think about theft.
My point was if you crash it, they're not going to give you anything anyway, regardless of what you value it at.

When I got quotes for the van this time it was more expensive TPO, then TPFT, cheapest was FC. Can you remember what the difference was in your case?
Assume agreed value is in case it's nicked/burnt to a crisp then?

more referring to bikes. always been TPFT and always just cut my losses and moved on.
wrote my K7 600 off last year after spending £10k on it, it's now rotting in my back garden, will probably list it up for sale soon but it'll only go for £2.5k max I think
i want to get a K7 750 in about feb as a lot of the mods i did to the 600 will fit straight onto the 750
never really wrote a car off except for my mums company car a few years ago, brand new octavia, didn't like being cornered at 110mph and ended up in a field during a family holiday away. re-broke my arm that had just had the plates removed from when i wrote my vfr400rr off a few months before hand

So to summarise,
You want a new car around the 20k and youve been offered 10k for the fabia but youre no accepting because youve spent a little more making it a tuned fabia.
You own a car till you crash but you have only even crashed your mums company car, which you didnt own.
You dont know if youre on tp or tpft but you own a car valued at 10k which flux are aware of but you wont sell it for that because youve spent more, but if you crash it like you say you wont get a 10k payout because youre not fully comp, but if you were fully comp youll get a payout of 10k which you say is less than whats been spent on it any way.
You get a good discount at unit 8 but you wont strip the car back to standard because you / ali@unit8 cant be bothered even though you could make more doing it that way.
You dont want to sell your car because you have made it the way you want it, from heavily tuning to changing the old LED bulbs.
Something tells me this thread was made to troll.

I really don't understand why people just assume everyone on here lie about everything?
If he says its tpft then what does it matter? It's his car, his choice and ultimately his loss if he bales at silly speeds.

You really don't deserve to have a driving license. You are going to end up bleeding to death in a crumpled piece of metal soon whilst everyone says 'I Told You So'

I wouldnt say he is lieing because he does have a tuned fabia.
I'd say its more bullshit being fed to everyone through a normal thread. IE the whole owning a car till he crashes comment but he has never 'owned' a car that hes crashed.

It's the Internet mate. Makes me laugh that people make statements such as not being able to have tpft on a car of a certain value when they clearly don't know what they are talking about.
