Can't believe Cisse's goal is even being questioned as deliberate  As Ben G rightly said, there's a difference between expecting it to go in, and hoping it goes in. I doubt he calculated how much swerve it would take to tuck it right into the corner, but he tried his luck and it certainly paid off!

I do the same at sunday league got a powerful shot behind me but iffy accuracy some end up in the corner of the goal others end up in the corner of the pitch
Pro's do it as I.e ekotto has scored 'wonder' goals which are hit and hopes and other attempts have gone off for a throw

There are certain shots which you can tell are what the player was trying to do. There are others, like cisses, where you just smack it towards the goal as hard as you can and 'hope' it comes off. This time it did, 9 out 10 times, it won't. Dench.

Deliberate or not, it was a cracking goal.
I also think we have a good chance against city, they will be nervous and cagey.
If i had seen the table as it is now at the begining of the season, i wouldnt have beleived it. Lost two games at home, amazing, potential to finish in top 4, crazy.
I think most fans would have been happy with a mid table finish. It gets on my tits when people have a go at ashley, he's a businessman, hes in it for profit, the club has no debts, has a great squad and yet any time something goes wrong, ashley gets the blame. Though renaming the stadium was a bit thoughtless.
Good result, good team, proud to be a geordie!
