I have been with the mrs 15 years, we are married, own our home and 33 and both keep on being asked the question when are we having kids.
The answer, when we are ready. Whether that be financially, mentally or what ever. Neither of us are broddy or feel inclined to have them even though nearly all our friends have at least one child.
I cant see the point of having one just for the sake of it or to conform to the way society seems to dictate people lifes.
Plus I can think of better things to spend my money on and we both like to sleep and have long lay-ins at the weekend.

Mrs bangs on about them about 80% of the time. I can barely afford rent and my car so a kid is out of the question. Also I do see myself having a family but babies are about as interesting as socks to me. Just totally don't have a desire to fuck up my life that much yet.
Maybe when I have resigned to the fact the only purpose I could possible serve on this planet was to get a girl pregnant and hold a job till its able to feed itself then maybe.
I have happy family memories, but I don't feel like my life's started yet. Only got a decent job 8months ago so first things first

Also I would like to point out my post is in no way a dig at those who have kids. If you wanted it, and you have it and it makes you happy? Great. So long as you bring it up properly and don't turn it into a criminal I'm all for it.
It's just not for me yet and I have issues with it being something you "have" to do. If less people do then there will be less of a population surplus and strain on the planet.
