Fair play to Everton, they were better than us yesterday despite not being better than us but they want this more... genuinely concerned at our form right now - think saving grace is both Manc clubs going to Everton and the fact we are better at home and have mostly home matches left.
Incidentally, what a fantastic place Goodison Park is... proper old stadium (wooden floors n'all ) and a superb atmosphere (helped by them being good anbd us being improbably bad) - the Z cars entrance and huge roars made me think of the beginnign of the Gangs of New York fight scenes
Keeping my own counsel regarding AW for now. Heart is saying if he wins the Cup and maintains 4th, he deserves another crack. Head is saying whatever happens, we need A change in the club and culture...

Europa League will psuh us backwards. Why do top 4 and FA Cup have to be mutually exclusive?

given we were top for c.60% of the season, 3rd should have been the least of our expectations!

Of course, but if someone said at the start of the season that United wouldn't be top 4 you'd instantly expect to be battling with City and chelsea and at worst finish 3rd

yep, absolutely!
I actually would have been more than content with 4th and FA Cup (which was actually the exact position i expected of us as part of my own "3 year plan expectations") provided it was a comfortable top 4 finish, which it no longer is... us and Everton are so close in points and remainign games that I expect it to go down to the very last game a la the last 2 seasons :\

Your run in is far easier on paper, so you should get more points than them over the remaining games, but obviously that means nothing.
Interesting stat from Opta just now - 26/75 of the penalties this season have gone to the top 3.

Indeed! Think City and United will get at least a point from them but we MUST at least win our 3 remaining home games... West ham 3 days after a SF wont be easy either! Hull away could be a banana skin and Norwhich could be fighting to stay up on the final day

As expected really, being better sides they will have the ball longer in the opponents box thus increasing that stat.

Probably about right really, as Steve said, they have the better players, play the ball on the floor now, control the ball more, so create more opportunities for fouls in the box.

I'd hazard a guess that Suarez has won the most

Liverpool do seem to get alot now, but they always charge in to the box its down to the way they play,
How many hand balls has suarez caused by knocking the ball past someone at waist height
Most of them are away aswell

tim sherwood (at the end of season). Pretty harsh but expected, especially after spending ridiculous amounts on average players then not reaching champions league places.

I actually hope United beat Bayern, it would be quite funny if United won the CL. Potentially stealing Arsenals place in the CL next year.

Tim Sherwood is, quite apart from being a Gooner, an utter mug. No tactics, no clue on team selection, a thug and a clueless prick who sits in the stands and watches his team getting battered whilst doing fuck all. Oh, and PASHUNNNN #cunt
and yes, i realise the irony in more than one of those comments...

Why ? Id rather have 3 clubs from the North West in the CL than 2 from the North West and 2 from the South
