As I said, I'd always expect a penalty to be given and if it was against my team I'd be pissed off if it wasn't a penalty. Should really of been a red too

So looks like lvg will be announced in the next 24 hours or so according to ogden, who is usually spot on.

I'm quite excited.

It's also interesting to note the amount of players allegedly wanting to follow lvg. Muller is a fairly strong rumour at the moment, not that we need another forward mind. Bild are reporting he's pretty much as good as asking to come and Beckenbauer isn't saying much to quash that one. Also robben is being mentioned a lot.

I saw a potential line up for next year and it looks very strong if it can be pulled off, it doesn't include Rooney

Meh, slightly more excited by this than the Moyes appointment, but I'd like to see Giggs get a chance or at least appointed assistant.

I doubt Giggs is going to be assistant if lvg is manager. lvg is a very strong manager who does things 1 way and that his way. Its already expected he wants Patrick Kluivert as his assistant so what would Giggs do?
Some said he would be the link to the dressing room but he has that in RVP who he is good friends with.

I can see Giggs thinking "Will I become the next Steve Bruce, Mark Hughes, Brian Robson who will be going round the managing the bottom teams instead of becoming the ManU manager"

I highly doubt Robben, Muller or Kroos will be joining United. Any of the three would be an outstanding acquisition though.
