Replacement iPhones arrived today, scratched!
4 iPhone 5's sat next to me all have marks, apple sending out number 5 & 6 while I send back 1 & 2 tomorrow.
Think would really tighten up on quality control, ones I got today are worse than first ones.
Never had a bad apple product before this, should have kept 4S.

Im still surprised how many apps still don't go full screen with the 5, thought most would be updated straight away.

Was just about to ask for pics, mine seems perfect and so was my mates until he dropped it getting out the car yesterday and it bounced off every corner.

This is one advantage with my upgrades coinciding with the S models, they've ironed out any niggles by the time they release the S.

3 x White
I swapped my black for a white after seeing all the chips / scratches on black.
All scratches or marked on the mirror cut beveled edge, front and back.

Such a shame that they scratch that easily. The sad thing is, plastic would actually have been a better option.
Either way, I'm sure there are more scratch proof techniques to colour aluminium.
Alex, fill that in with a permanent marker.

I'm not arsed tbh, it doesnt bother me, I tried to buy a case this weekend but the case had thick scratches on, took it back for another, and the whole batch did.
This is my old one. Which did bother me, if my 5 got like this i'd buy a new case etc.

Did yours come like that Alex of have you done that? I'd send it back for that if it was mine.
I had a hard case on mine for a week or so, with all the crap getting in and snapping it on and off I thought it would be scratched to bits but its fine.
Put one of my new cases on now, they're a bit softer and fit really well and with them being so thin you can't tell you've got it on which always used to annoy me about cases.
Had to list them on my personal account since my business ones been banned for like the 4th time, cheers Apple

Not a lot mate, its not something I'd normally sell due to the heavily saturated market. But TBF when I was looking for a super thin case/cover for iPhone 5 last week you couldn't get them in this country so the only way of getting one was ordering in bulk from China so just decided to get 100, keep a few for myself and stick the rest on eBay at a low price to get rid.
I only needed to sell 20 to break even which I've pretty much done between eBay and mates.

Marks like this all over, about 4 or 5 per phone, almost dents rather than scratched as can feel them with nail as run across.

They will scratch equally easily. Will be far more visible on the black though, as you can see in Whittie's pic.
