After seeing the 4G iPod Touch i just wish Apple had done the iPhone 4 using the exact same design/casing.
I'd have even been happy to accept less features to get that design.

Yes, its even smaller than the iPhone 4 and mega thin with the old style rounded back in chrome, there's a youtube vid of a 4G Touch and iPhone side by side and it makes the iPhone look shit.

I wouldn't go so far to say it makes it look shit. Much rather tha function/quality in the iPhone and it be bigger than the function/quality in the Touch and have it smaller

One of the things the 4 has going for it is that it looks great, it's modern design, it is like a massive slab in your pocket though.

OK maybe 'shit' was a bit of an exageration, but think the touch looks much better and its got the same screen, camera, wifi and most other non-phone features inc Facetime as the iPhone.
Im sure they could fit the bit that makes the iPhone a phone into it and it would still have most of the best features

Chances are they couldn't, hence why the iPhone 4 is the size/shape it is. No doubt next years version will be smaller though.

The iPhone is the way it is so they could put the fancy antenna around the outside.
It doesn't work and the iPod doesn't need it, that's why it's not the same shape.

Even if it was an internal antenna like previous models, i doubt they could make the physical size of the phone that much small. From the breakdown photos of the phone i've seen it looks pretty damn packed/tight inside.
Eitherway, i thought they fixed the issue with the antenna by coat the metal?

As far as i'm aware they haven't coated the antenna on any model's? 
I was going to get a white one at Xmas but the whole things been a joke tbh.

Pretty sure its not the same screen. There have been quite a few reports showing its got a tiny viewing angle in comparison to the iPhone so its not the same screen. Similar but not sure what bit is not whether its coating or something

It the same resolution.. It just doesnt use the IPS technology that's on the iPhone.

After getting a mirrored screen protector by mistake I now have clear front and back protectors  Easier to fit than I thought. Made a mess last time.
