Good to know. Im thinking the former would be best for me, I never drop onto the front smallest on my current set up. I thought about the fixie route or even a single cog on front as that would probably be ok but tben when I think about it it seems too much style over function to be mdssing about whrre im at now.

I have purchased a GoPro so as the instruction book tells me I can now 'Be a Hero'.

What this really means is that there shall now be some good videos of falls and other professional behaviour posted in the thread.

Just need to wait for a memory card to arrive. I forgot to buy one FFS

Been to lee quarry and cragg quarry today near or in bacup Lancashire. Very very good. Easy spend a day there messing about as there are loads of different bits that aren't on the trail that peel off all over the place. The run back down from cragg quarry to lee quarry is proper decent and fast with lots of stones to jump off. Great weekend I've had.

Having the same conundrum as I had with my mountain bike. I seem to always be in between sizes with bikes - would you go slightly larger or slightly smaller with a road bike. The choice is 58cm or 60cm, how much difference can 2cm make? I'm 6'2".

well... I fail at repairing an innertube

im blaming the tools aka the patches, the bit on the back you have to pull off is stuck on that well it pulls the patch up when your pulling it off.

2 patches down and a ruined tube later = new tube time, im taking this as a lesson just to buy spare tubes it makes life so much easier .

hully gully part of gisburn forest. lack of speed is due to not knowing what was coming up, and i am very much a novice still so dont judge the lack of pro content lol.

Why did you put the 'lol' there? There was nothing funny in the post. Your lack of pro skills is serious, certainly not funny.

I had a great ride around Forest of Dean on Sunday. We parked at Parkend and explored some of the natural trails before riding upto the trail centre and doing a loop. The natural stuff outside is much more fun in my opinion!

No cycling for me. Instead I went on a 48 hour binge session at Bournemouth Rugby 7s Festival which I absolutely bossed.
