Got some good news regarding my broken Puss3.
My mum checked on her online catalog and for that day only they were doing 50% off on all electricals, inc the new slimline 120GB PS3.
So I've ordered one for £125 and a quick check on eBay shows people selling their broken ones for about £60. I aren't complaining at £65 for a brand new one basically 
Only thing is my COD disk is trapped inside, anyone know a way of getting it out without breaking the warranty seal?
All is not lost though if i can't, i have a £20 Asda voucher and with staff discount i can get a new one for £16.

You going to chase Sony regarding the warranty? You should get a refurb out of it, Then sell that or the slim (for more than £125) and it will make your ps even cheaper
Try using the power rocker switch at the back then holding eject. Sometimes they come out.

Turn ps3 off at the back, put ur finger on the eject button and switch on at the back, the fan will be ver loud and disc should eject, worked when I had YLOD

Tbh... Since I'm an idiot.. I'd take the other PS3 apart, knowing full well it would dent the selling value but really... It's COD. You'll lose what, £20 of what it'll sell for on eBay?
