New hubs also? If you are looking to do more jumping, maybe look into stans rims? You can gets a Flow EX wheel with Hope hub for about £100, it'll be much stronger than the mavic rim..

That's the way I would go. Winstanley bikes usually have the best deals on Hope hoops, just check they have it in stock and then you will soon have it.

Who is it on here that has a Canyon bike?
Tempted by a Lapierre Zesty 514 or possibly a Canyon as you get a serious spec for the same cash.

Don't have one but a friend has one. Amazing spec for the cash, I would have one over a Zesty, lapierre have problems with frames cracking, not sure if its sorted now but it certainly blighted the last few years.

I'm just browsing at the moment. They are hard to ignore at that price point.
It's going to be awkward to buy without a test ride!

Yes that sounds good, let me know when you fancy and I will see if I am off work. Got some good club run rides from around here for my Garmin so we could ride a nice route. I am not very fast either!

Away that weekend with work and at the minute pretty much my whole July is a write-off as I have a whole month of standby. Leave it with me and I will see what I can come up with.

I took a visit to the Croft Trail at Swindon on Thursday, well worth a visit if passing or near by! Really great what they have done with a relatively small and flat area. Great for wazzing round racing mates

Looking to head to Forest of Dean today, but could go here instead. Is it worth the trip? What's it like compared to Cannock etc? Any decent drops etc?

If you are heading fod then pop in on the way or way back for a lap or 2, only couple of miles laps. I wouldn't go instead of. It's really good as a place showing what you can do with little height and gradient but not really a replacement for a full on trail centre. Also if you are heading FOD check out the Parkend area outside the centre, I did a ride there recently if you can find my Strava route, even better in my opinion! Have fun
