Doubt it. 5 fastest from each i reckon we'd be fine. Granted fast Micra's do exist but fast Corsa's do too. Very fast Corsa's at that.
Dont see any micra's beating Timruds LET Corsa.
People are making stupidly fast Corsas, so there will be the same kind of people on other websites doing the same things to other cars. Probably doing it to cars that are better built as standard!
I read the first 10posts on this thread and thought the same, I know a few daftly tuned micra's round South Yorkshire aswell, all unknown by the modding scene as they are grown blokes.
If you lot are going up againsts RST's then I think you ought to get Jacko's (boyracer2002) mate involved, shock time for whoever goes up against him.

Venom, if you know your RS's you would know they are inherently pants at the 1/4 mile, for some random reason! Simelar power figures, but struggle to match the times...

I don't really read much about them, but I know Jacko's mate's RST is stupidly tuned with a none RST standard engine, if your power figure is still 325brake, then it's within 20horses of it, and I had a chat with him when I first met Jacko and a very knowledgable bloke, doesn't spout the usual crap that young lads with high powered engines do.

Brad..... Pod is great, BUT when its properly busy the ques can be a pain. Also it can be a bit far for peeps from say Scotland.
Could have a day at York too?
Contact all the magazines (incl. all the vaux and gti ones), see what they can offer, if anything!

in regard to the micra stuff, you are right, quick micras over here are few and far between. however the turbo charged 1.3 see very good power.
the 2.0 engines are good for over 150bhp
and the 2.0 turbo (sr20det, gtir engines) well....
the micra tuning scene is small over here, most people tend to go the shite stuck on crap route.
also you cannot compare 1.3 micra's to 2.0 turbo corsas, thats stupid.
would be better to compare the 2.0 turbo micra's (of which non, yet, have been built over here) with 220bhp as standard, in lighter cars, with your 2.0 turbos.
have a look in my garage under micra's.
however engine size for engine size, the micras have the capabilty to be quicker.
of the cars listed however, my cash would be on the corsa's

it would have to be againt 1 model of rover, pref a model thats not got a turbo engine as std...
a vaux vs rover day would take into acount all of the above, but they would rape corsas's.... even though i think we can muster up quite a few 13sec cars

How about 200's/25/ZR? If they have to have the engines they came with then it would be a better 'test' of the tuning of the engine and the ability of the driver.
the Mk2 200's came with turbos and 2.0 engines. After that the bubble shaped 200's only came with 1.8 VVC's or smaller.

How about a little side race as well Corsasport Vs Corsacrazy.
Some of you who are also on the darkside will have to chose CS or CC.
Just a crazy idea
