Standard 106 gti/vts's do quarters in about 15.3 ive seen

iv seen a 14.9 std VTS although doesnt happen very often, my old std 106 gti did a 15.2

christ thats my ftos times 193bhp but its a heavy cunt at 1250kg,what weight is the 106?

I know what a fast car is, sub14s to me, but at 19 to me a vts is quick, and a quarter in around 15 is good i think for the BHP..

Ok eel thanks for that incase we didnt all ready know.

Exactly rusty, regardless of wieght its still one of the best hot hatches you can buy for 2k, show me another car that matches performance figures for that... that wouldnt cost a bomb on insurance etc..

those then are the people getting 15's on the 1/4 mile

people who do it properly ie not a numbnut will be getting mid 14's all day long from a std engine.

again, this is about a 106gti vs a polo

as a car, the polo is so much more than the 106 tin foil shit machine. its just the truth. a heinz can has a better safety rating

must be a few engines on here then you said they were slow so i merely stated at least it was standard

yep, as they dont have to charge you a lot, as the first time you crash you die in one. theyre over rated piles of shite. well done to anyone that owns one, i envy the speed and power you have and tha handling, wow, im so envious of its shitness
