Everyone slated Owen Hargreaves till he had a proper run in an England shirt.
The Fact is Lampard is out, It Gives Gerrard the opportunity to show how good he is in Central Midfield(more capable of dominating the game from midfield than lampard as he is a better all round player).
England can then play 2 out and out wingers both with different attributes and still have a defensive midfield with hargreaves.
I fully expect to see a better balanced England team and not just because of the opposition.

Errrrr....no! To change now is the right idea. Gives the new guy the right amount of time to get us qualified and ready for Euro 08, rather than scraping through to Euro 08 and then Mac coming up against teams 4, 5, 10x as good as Andorra and having no ducking idea what to do!

I can say hand on heart I could have done a better job than Downing down the left...it amazes me why he gets picked...lets not forget he is meant to be a prem player...and not once did he give there right back a bad time...
I lost count the amount of times I seen him coming into central midfield to get the ball...I was screaming for him to fuck off onto the wing which is where he is meant to be playing...
