hasnt got any in stock yet :@ i was gonna order asap tonight if possible!!

but could someone do a quick explantion on how to do it?

inlet off then just undo all bolts for the pipe?

You will probably have to cut the pipe up into pieces to remove it.

no hose needed. just a Dave A sock filter

This thread wasnt an attempt at selling sock filters but I have had so many u2u messages from people wanting them that I will get people them at trade prices if they want one.

Make a list of people who want one I will buy a load in next week. I will also do a fitting tutorial if people want.

i now you dont need no hose but ive not long bought a bmc an wana change the standard pipe for one thats not so restrictive

sock filter will be far less restrictive than an overpriced box.

intake temps on a corsa with an open cone filter with air feed is around 30deg

intake temp with sock filter directly onto the tb is around the same without any cold air feed. obviously an air feed would help though.

With the filter on the drivers side inner wing, the intake temp is cooler obviously. Around dead on the ambient temp i found, when moving. On a 20deg day, i tested it.

I found the temp around the throttle body to be around 10ish deg above ambient temp. It was about 30c when moving, it rocketed to 40-50 when stationary, as expected.
I would definently recommend a cold air feed

This was in a nova btw, not sure how much a corsa airflow into the bay differs.
