It does change the induction note, although if you're still running a standard airbox you wouldnt notice.

When i fitted my mantzel i'd already got a loud exhaust so it was difficult to hear much of a change lol it does change the sound, only way i can describe is it sounds a bit more racey and less echoey than the sound from a standard inlet+ induction kit

I'm interested in why you decided on 3mm thick steel? just wondering because i designed a peugeot 205 gti rear subframe for double wishbones and used 2mm thick aluminium with a loading of like 3500N and it moved less than 2mm (computer analysis)

I saw it on Will's car. I can tell you it looked awesome, the finish was superb especially around the welds (couldn't see them)

Hey peepz. sorry for the delay in posting replies the past few days

As tomwilly points out its on the car and looks good

No performance difference from my mantzel, although my car seems to be having a fuelling issue atm which sucks. gotta get some more material in at work but otherwise should be able to knock some more out soon

Well theres a number of reasons, main ones being that thats the type our company carries in stock. secondly it needed to be fairly rigid so it doesnt flex or warp when bolted up, and thirdly because otherwise the heat from welding would warp it way too much

Hey peepz sorry no word for a while, ontop of my corsa running poorly we've been having some issues at work with the reels of stainless mig wire in the past few weeks. wont bore you with the details but we must have a bad batch atm or something, get one every so often which will not run smooth but lately they are all doing it

Although its in the process of being sorted, so my guvnor says. should be able to pick up again soon

Hmmm, just let me clear something up, is this the throttle body i've highlighted below...

Is it easy enough to modify the cable and all that jazz to make it fit there?
