My wife got 4 "extra" valentines cards today, not from me!!!
Weird thing is they were from kids in her class, and three were girls! (She's a primary school teacher).
Back in the day i would have never had the balls to send a teacher a V Day card!!! lol

tbh getting turned down has never bothered me. I was at a meet a couple of weeks ago and there was a barmaid that was quite nice and seemed sound, so I gave her me number when I left, just thought, if she's interested fair do's if not, so what. My problem is more feeling a tool when I read the signals wrong, which I have done a few times in the past  I just don't know about relationships though, cos I've never really had one that's lasted more than 3 weeks, and that hasn't revolved around a school playground I just don't really see what's so good about it. Just seems like a lot more effort for a bit of affection here and there.
I've just read that back and even I know there's something not right there but that's what my experience adds upto

Mike I wish i had the balls to do that pulling for me involves beign half pissed which is probably why i meet and end up with weirdo's who i've got sod all in common with
Fair enough you may feel different one day but it's defo worth a shot seeing how it goes with girls if you've ever been in love it's awesome but fucking hard work

I don't think I'm that confident really, I'm really shy, I just went ordering a mega sundae for 2, for myself and she started telling me about betting a mate to eat one as quick as he could, he managed 3 minutes then brought it all back up was talking to her when I went getting a drink a bit later then thought wtf, why not?

iv done similar things in the past, although with sounding big headed, they've always text me, maybe im just more 'sure' when i hand it out

I'd never have the plums to do that, I was used to getting passed messages about girls liking me when I was younger so always knew beforehand I wasn't gonna get knocked back. Used to always be confident when out as had mates as wingmen etc but the only ones of us left single are out of practise and in all honesty bit shit at 'cold' pulling
I get birds who I know and mainly have been with showing interest but never going any where with them as they are all bitches

Tbh, I've only once that I can think of had a woman come on to me, it was around last May she was 42 and just wanted a bit of fun I've never been good with women, when I first saw a girl at a garage I used to work at I almost choked on my tongue trying to ask her for some keys
When I give her my number I was kinda wanting anything I could get so I just thought why not?

Everyone has a certain type they find attractive...
e.g. my type is chunky rugby men, i like dark hair and brown eyes, NOT pretty boys, I prefer someone with character and is rugged
but all the other girls will most definately like a different type...

I'm the same. If I go out and dont drink I'll just sit there quiet.... I wont talk to anyone I dont know. People see that as being stuck up sometimes and its not that. Im just shy. Im actually shit at talking to new people.
