i dont think ford will produce a car with the road presence and be as much of an enthusiasts car.

unless cosworth and ford get together to make a car again, the new stuff just wont have that same vibe

I like the RS's and I think that AT LEAST half of the people that have posted in here saying that they don't like them would say different depending who they're talking to.

Fair enough, maybe it's never going to be as good as an RS Cosworth - but is it trying to be? No. Without me knowing the cars inside out, I'd say that compared to other cars in its class it'll be up there with the best.

But I agree with what people are saying about cars being slower these days. But obviously it's to do with the fact you can't now make completely balls out car with 250+bhp and matchsticks for pillars. More crumple zones = more weight. No need for it to be FWD though

Got the car home yesterday, and my dad gave it a wash. Its tucked away in the garage just now until my brother gets a chance to detail it at the weekend.

Here's a pic i took a few minutes ago.

In all seriousness here, could your dad not have taken your brother along with his paint reader and sun-light thing and checked over the car and found all the paint deflects etc, then haggled the price down??

i like it, and i like the fact he's going to look after the car. too many people take things for granted these days and just dont care and treat things like shite. This thing is clearly going to be loved and im sure the next buyer of it will be chuffed to buggery that the owner has kept it mint.

It has been given a bit of a blast. His will-power isn't that strong
Since the car only has 60 miles on the clock, he was taking it easy(ish), but it was still pretty impressive. The induction note sounds

Cool as

I await the detailing thread!

And I'm sure just cos he wants to keep it mint doesn't mean that it wont get a thrashing like it was intended for! You can do both...
