yes, just got off the phone from the scrappie cause I need a complete rear drum to rob some bits off.
The rear beam has been powdercoated along with the drums, back plates, and springs, got the new powerflex bushes on, just need to rebuild the beam up so it can go back on the car.
Frontend needs putting back together, powdercoated front subframe, new lower arms with powerflex bushes need to be bolted together and offered up to the front of the car so I can move it (read: push) again.
Before all that happens I need to get under it and clean all the mud off, slap some black shit on it so it looks pretty and let that dry.
Engine has most of the bits I need, just need to measure the compression ratio so I can order the gasket and then find a million other things my engine needs

tbh, you could probably pickup a redtop for £1k, so is it that bad an idea? Save the money for something "nicer" or more of a toy?

Dont really have much choice Even the C2 is over a grand cos of mods I think when your young you have to be aware your going to be getting arse raped for insurance whatever you have.

Had a 5 door mk 3 which I hated.
Need something with a bigger boot than the mk4 I've got at the moment
