It probably can - that's what I'm trying to establish - although it's not like north, south, east and west.

see i think my region is lacking tbh will and jr have done a good job up until now but willay is always a busy man now running the show side of things and moderation etc jr i dont know whats going on maybe the SE should have a change maybe to give willay a break from having to do all the work and let him concentrate on what he is very good at
no offence to willay or jr for the job they have done in the past

West coast, East coast and North, or North and South.
If people anywhere around Glasgow or Edinburgh really wanted to go to meets it would be easy enough to pick somewhere central.

Agreed, most members are pretty much central to them. It's a 50 minute drive for me which isnt a problem.

I'd say a north/south divide.
I'm only 30/40 Minutes from Glasgow/Motherwell, so it's probably better to centralise the meets to get the best attendance.
I.E Holding a meet at Strathyclyde park is 30/40 minutes for me, but also closer to the likes of sri_boy, connolly, sean 8v etc, so folk are most likely to come.
I go to Falkirk a fair bit for the monthly cruise it's not exactly a million miles away.
We all drive it's what we enjoy doing (And why we are here more to the point)

Everyone would have parking tickets as soon as they got anywhere close to Edinburgh.

Yeah I'm mental busy and I've neglected the region, if someone steps up to the job I'd happily let them have a go!

The only problem I see with that is, the people who the meet is local too will probably only turn up on those occasions and not bother when they have to go a wee drive to it
(Mine and archies meets were "AYRSHIRE" meets)

Well sri_boy, shaun sri, wwwnoobcom, ryan docherty, jamie valverman to name a few all made the trip down for the Maidens meet...
They wont always be in the same place, that gets boring, just pitching that as a sorta suggestion.
