There's nothing wrong you shouldn't be pulling over there to let people by for a start, and no he isnt mad, far from it actually, he's allready been out and bought a new track car.

Whats he meant to do, stop on the track?
No, you carry on. Do any racing teams subsidise another team if their driver/rider takes someone else out? You go on track at your own risk. Thats the first thing anyone should get their head around before venturing on track.

"have put this up to let people make up there own mind!! clearly someone didnt listen to the drivers briefing, only overtaking or letting people through in the straights!! end of day and end of car! cheers mate!!"
Sounds to me he did.

Good selective quoting. Lets focus on the second sentence shall we?
"clearly someone didnt listen to the drivers briefing, only overtaking or letting people through in the straights!!"
Saying "someone" means he clearly doesnt think that it is him. Despite the fact he says himself you are only meant to try overtaking on the straights. Yes, the other guy moved over, but without reciprocating by trying to make the pass would there have been a shunt? Nope. Two wrongs dont make a right, but in this case they made a nicely crumpled 205.
Also the "cheers mate" at the end is pretty obviously a sarcastic, thanks for wrecking my car, style remark.

I read this thread before even watching the video and had made up my mind on it...
but having actually watched it, I cannot believe anyone would actually think it's the civic's fault! He didnt even pull out in front of the 205, he just went around the corner, and the 205 ran into him.
If the civic had pulled over to the other side of the track infront of the 205 then I might see him being at fault, but he didnt...he literally just followed the corner!
Overtaking is done on the left only, on the straights only, and by consent of the driver in front only.
To me the 205 misjudged the speed/position of the car in front and ran into him.
Also, people might think the Civic driver is a twat for not stopping, but it is a BIG no no to stop on track once there has been an accident. The quicker all the cars get back to the pits, the quicker the marshalls/paramedics can get out to the incident and make sure everything is ok.
He did the right thing

Closed, why closed? this thread wasn't so we could get an answer as to who was right and wrong then it ends there, it's about finding out what people thought of the situation.

It looks like dose of bad luck but the question has to be asked why was the civic driving so slowly through that section of track???
If it was a problem with the car then surely pulling off would have been the safer thing to do. Its all easily said that you can see the civic from a good bit back but if your a few cars back and goin through a quick section of track and your focused on the car in front then the last thing your gonna be watching out for is someone at a crawl casually driving over the apex of a raised hill knowing theres cars racing you behind you.

Yeah, but say you had never been on track (possible), and your driving along.
Look how close those evo's were up his arse. He/she probably looked in the mirror, sh1t himself (noob/confusion over rules), moved out the way.
This is of course thinking that the civic was a noob track driver. If they are experienced, shame on them.

could have been anything, couldve jumped out a gear, couldve missed a gear, could gone into 4th not 2nd loads of reason, you cannot say that if you missed a gear you would dive off the track? no you would slow, pull over let stuff past bang it back in gear and carry on
the point still remains the 205 hit the civiic not vice versa.
