TBF, Cosmo only agrees with how Rangers played because he know if Liverpool played them they'd play attacking because they'd have a chance

Unfortunately, that is probably identical to how we'll play at ibrox against utd. In our defence, there are at least half a dozen players on your team that's worth more than our squad

At least there stadium isn't called Rugby park, Kilmarnock could have done a better job of hiding the fact that scots only know how to play rugby

I think most people would agree there is a line drawn, you have to balance tactics and actually having a willingness at least a couple of times to string a passing move together.

When we played Arsenal, for example, they pumped us (and cheated ) but we at least tried to play football and commit people forward. I would much rather that than lie down and fluke points here and there.

Why?

Youd rather spend silly money going to watch your team get hammered than go and come back with an unexpected point?

Because if United scored at any point, you've just turned up to watch your team be lambs to the slaughter rather than have a go.

They didnt though.

Going out and attacking is pretty much guaranteeing United winning. Going out like Rangers at least gave them a chance of a result.

It doesn't work all the time hence why Rangers aren't champions of Europe, they still struggle to find the balance as well. He refused to alter what got him to the final of the Uefa a couple years ago and they got beat when they probably would have gave Zenit a game if they actually attacked them now and again.

Playing like that won't win him the CL obviously, but it may get them out of the group stages if they can get a point away from home against one of the favourites.

Pissed off about Valencia. If Nani is playing bad Valencia could be brought on or vice versa, now we've not really got any options there if its not going well.

And for the 1st time ever I'd rather of seen Berbatov on the pitch than Rooney. Hindsight is a wonderful thing!

Apart from Scholes Berbatov has been our best player, and he's finally showing what everyone knows he can do, so hope he carries on

I wouldnt play Rooney at all on Sunday, he needs to sort his head out, waste of a player yesterday

If we get 3 points on Sunday all will be forgotten. Liverpool always seem to manage to raise their game for us though but at least they'll make a game of it and not play 9 defenders. Pressure is on us now to get a result!

I can appreciate the tactics Rangers used last night, but, it didn't half make for a boring game. Hate such a game especially when I've been looking forward to it.

Yes i must be pretty daft, i pay good money to watch good football and be entertained, and as much as i don't like losing, i'd sooner lose knowing we had a go rather than not

You'll not understand that though being an arm-chair fan

forgot about me being an arm chair fan.

coz i never had a season ticket?
coz i never go to as many games as i can?
coz i wasnt there in manchester 2 years ago?
coz i didnt go all the way to london to see them play friendlies
coz i didnt go to derby for a testimonial?

i took my arm chair everywhere
