did anyone just see police interceptors?
vectra gsi almost beat an evo 10, therefore a vectra gsi must be better than an m3 according to cs.

Vec C Gsi will do nigh on 160mph as proved by that copper a few years back,M3 is limited to 155mph.
That makes the Vectra a faster car.

I would say it makes the vectra more of a drivers car, as its not limited and you can use all it can give.

iv always considered it to mean a challenging car to drive but if driven properly by an accomplished "driver" it will reward you being faster then an equivalent "easier" car to drive

People that go to the Nurburgring come out with that kind of rubbish. Never trust their opinion on cars

but then in all seriousness, if you have a naff car like the above mentioned vectra gsi or vectra VXR etc thats not very good at handling and drive it properly does that not make it a drivers car?
on the internet it talks about all these drivers cars and mentions the likes of porsche GT3 , megane R26 etc, but surely they are out the factory good handling powerful cars? cant be harder to drive then the vectra etc?

you are mistaking cars that are hard to make handle well due to poor chassis design etc and lack little potential and will never handle well, with cars that hard to make handle well but if driven properly have a lot of potential

A drivers' car is a car that is perfectly set-up, handles well and rewards you, imo.
Like the Puma/Fiesta Zetec-S

usually though the "safe handling" cars are ok for the average person, but someone looking for more, might look at the cars that require more skill but will end up actually being faster
