Not done better time than me that's done 11.1 I've done 10.6 and that nova weighs 550kgs so you can't really compare that times

never really focused on treds, think i did my first outing on them where i was having boost cut problems so prob a 12.1 on them , recon i could do low 11s /high 10s on treads

Suttons is the fastest corsa on treads. He did a 10.9 with about 500bhp. Think you bought that engine didn't you Ben?

some people are pushing their cars on treads to see who can get the best on them, slicks are a different thing all together. fair enough if bens not fussed about treads but some run both

Interesting read/argument.

I used to own an Xe corsa that did a 14.0 sec quarter mile. Was standard engine but the car was stripped out so I guess 13.7 is possible!

As for power to weight, it's a flawed calculation imo because depending on the vehicle, the max power is only at a certain rpm. The rest of the rev range can be far lower power. That v6 corsa will have a very good spread of power through the rev range so will be 190 bhp (or close to it) for a lot of the revs...

some people need them cos they doing the times that would require them.... some are just having fun... some cant grasp that

i heard that kiel priestman with that high power civic has only just went onto a roll cage after doing really low times without one
