Wouldn't say the money is spunked at all. Di Maria is proven at the very highest level. For his ability he had a poor season but still statistically outperformed most players in the league.

Still think there are far better defenders out there that they should be buying. Hummels being top of that. But if they get Ramos, and an actual out and out defender, they may do well. But Rojo and Ramos is the most terrifying pairing I've ever heard of
