Paddy Power on FB: BREAKING: Marouane Chamakh to have a medical at Crystal Palace. It’s mostly checking if the splinters in his arse have done permanent damage.

Capoue to Spurs very close. odd one this, we bid for him on dealdine day in Jan and even reserved a hotel room for him apparently, now nothing. did wenger view it as a panic buy or just going for bigger fish, as we havent been linkd with him at all this summer

Good player by all accounts. We were linked with him at some point, also.

Also, it looks like United were fed duff info that Cesc would sign for them by someone hence the bids. Trolled massively. Moyes looks a right cock.

ive softened my stance from not wanting him to reluctantly wanting him as we really have no other options now, no thanks to ourselves. We swapped targets from Jovetic to Higuain and now to Suarez, there is no Plan D IMO as there is no-one else at that level available in the market. Lewandowski the only possible but he is a slight step down from the likes of Suarez, Falcao etc. IMO and in any case he sounds nailed on to go to Munich.

Rooney IMO is not the out and out striker we need, though id still love to see him come

edit to say i still severely dislike suarez. though i do support his version of "you guys"

its a pretty cut and dried situation now IMO. Liverpool have repeatedly said theyll sell suarez if they receive an acceptable bid of c.£50m (the cost of Falcao and roughly of Cavani), fair enough.

Suarez and, by default, Arsenal thought they could get him for £40m. The PFA support Suarez but even they have said the clause is not watertight so if we want him we have to pony up, just as ive been saying fior the past 2 weeks.

We are rumoured to have bid £51m last night, if so that should do it but I suspect we'll edge up to £45m + add-ons then to maybe £50m straight up and naff all else

simples
